Privacy Policy

This policy is a starting template. Replace with policy reviewed by your attorney and aligned with your actual data handling practices and applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
1. Data we collect
We collect the email address, name, and role you provide during signup, the financial profile and preferences you enter during onboarding, the deals you create and the documents you upload, and basic usage telemetry (logins, deal counts, feature usage) needed to operate the Service.
2. How we use your data
Your profile and deal data are used solely to provide personalized assessments. Documents you upload are processed by AI providers (Anthropic and/or OpenAI) only to extract structured fields for your review. We do not use your data to train any AI models.
3. Payment data
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain only non-sensitive references (Stripe customer ID, subscription status, last 4 digits) needed to manage your subscription.
4. Third-party processors
We use the following processors: Stripe (payments), Anthropic and/or OpenAI (document extraction and recommendation narrative). Each processes only the minimum data required.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation to allow re-activation. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting your admin.
6. Security
We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS) and password hashing. No system is perfectly secure; you remain responsible for keeping your password confidential.
7. Broker visibility
If you are an investor and a broker has linked their account to yours, the broker can read (not edit) your investor profile and see deals they've scored for you. You can revoke linked access at any time by contacting your admin.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact your admin to exercise these rights.

We use only essential cookies (session authentication). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
